Sometimes your shipment isn’t needed there right away and you have the time to get it there economically. That doesn’t mean you put in on the first truck available or use a carrier who transfers your shipment multiple times when crossing the continent. Our network of trucking partners understand our industry, their trucks are air ride and come with e-track to safely transport your delicate shipment. For your LTL (less than truck load) shipment, we’ll find you a carrier who will make the fewest stops or transfers possible. Horizon has unlimited storage capabilities at our Chicago O’Hare headquarters as well as agreements with our agents in other locations to handle both your long term and short term storage needs. Our clients have found using our facility for storage helps them in the management of their equipment. By having people on site who understand your gear, we are able to pull what you need and send it to where it is needed without you having to be there while knowing it’s in a safe and secure location.
Due to our close relationship with the US Council for International Business, The Canadian Chamber of Commerce and The London Chamber of Commerce, we have the ability to create your ATA carnet for you within 24 hours of you presenting us the necessary information. Also, should you be traveling to a country that does not recognize the ATA Carnet, or has other customs requirements that you might not be familiar with using our extensive knowledge we can make your international shipping one less thing to stress out about.
